Legend. Some people say “legend” to describe something, like King Arthur, but to be honest, King himself has no start in comprarison with this component :)

Till now, I managed to have 2 pieces, of which one has died with natural cause of death...as far as bike usage might be called natural. After one crash, it bented around cassette because of the stick which entangled in chain. Fortunately, damage was recoverable, so I put it back together and ride on for 3 years ! Another crash destroyed it completely, because derailleur bent 90 degrees outside – results were devastating: main axle was torn apart and rivets were broken. Another piece which I bought, live to this very day, and it's working fantastic. Things which make me happy the most, are bulletproof [well, almost], consistent working during bad weather conditions; mud, rain, snow, frost, reliable in any conditions to be honest. Especially mud. Maybe it's not the lightiest gear which You can get nowadays, but comprarison price – reliability – weight it's propably still one of the best piece of gear You can get. Now You can even get new one, without much hassle, so that's a bonus. It won't costs pile of money, like competition, but those money will be well spend. Guaranteed. You can try buy used one, it should be good investment as well, now you can get those for ridiculous amount of money. I bought mine for 11 EUR and 8 EUR, both used.
