Day 8

Cisna → Muczne - ~75km

Today's morning we don't rush, we wait for another competitors and we eat breakfast, which results in really late start – around 9AM. We think that distance for today is not so long and track would be easier then previous days, but after 7 days of cycling cross country/all mountain every next day is difficult. We start from hut above Cisna, and in the village itself we gaher supplies and we continue. Track seems to be easier really, and temperature seems merciful as well, at moment of start it was around 15 degrees, but sun starts to shine before noon and it's become really pleasant. From information we gathered from guide (thanks Daniel), we figured that there is only one difficult uphill waiting for us – Dwernik-Kamień and that's pretty much it. Thanks to God, track itself is being cut so we don't have to go to Jasło and Fereczata peaks. So we continue. Track seems to be easier in fact, but it's still not easy. Somewhere around noon we get to the top of Dwernik-Kamień, but the way up is very difficult and demanding and longer than we have thought. The views from the top seems to be worthwhile – beatiful view on Bieszczady. At the top we regenerate, and we go down. We want to go fast, but burnt pads and not fully working bikes it's really hard. After a while it's becoming desperate mission really, but only at the beginning :) We get to Smerek village and after that we have only 2 peaks to conquer. Small as they seems [around 800m. Above sea level], they are still more demanding than we expected. We finally get to Muczne around 6:35 PM.
